There’s beauty in the personal. With our Plush Bag Make It Your Own service, we invite you to send in a fabric that holds meaning - a silk scarf from your travels, a piece of a vintage dress or a remnant from something once loved.

In cooperation with our Florentine workshop, we’ll transform it into a custom Plush Bag, sculpted with our signature gathered silhouette and ruched handle.

It's more than a bag - it’s memory made tangible, a playful and elegant accessory with your story woven into every seam.

 Customization FAQs

  • Please email us at info@fivefortythelabel.com with a short description of your fabric (material type and dimensions). We’ll assess whether it’s suitable for crafting your custom Plush Bag.

    Once we confirm your fabric is suitable, we’ll share the shipping address so you can send your material to our studio.

  • We recommend using soft fabrics to ensure the design drapes well and retains its intended shape. Features like gathered handles or ruched detailing work best with flexible, not too heavy materials that allow for smooth construction and a clean finish.

    Fabrics must be clean and at least 70 x 70 cm to ensure we have enough material to craft your Plush Bag.

  • Yes! Patterns and prints add personality and uniqueness. Our artisans will ensure the most beautiful part of your fabric is highlighted in the final design.

  • Yes, customers are responsible for covering the cost of sending their fabric to our studio, including any customs or tariffs if shipping from outside the EU.

  • The total cost - including production of your bag and shipping the finished piece back to you - ranges from €180 to €300, depending on your location and any customs fees.

  • From the time we receive your fabric, please allow 4 - 6 weeks for production and delivery of your finished Plush Bag.

  • Because your bag is handmade using your personal fabric, all custom orders are final sale and non-returnable.
